GAGA'S PERFORMANCES
In my SDSU Fall 2023 Typography 342 course, for my final project I decided to create a guidebook featuring Lady Gaga's iconic live TV performances. The goal was to make an informative, visually appealing, and collectible item for fans. For this project, I aimed to create a design that resembled looking at a TV screen, hence the use of grainy effects on the images and the inclusion of shapes that resembled messages. Symmetric shapes were used to structure the layout on the guidebook grid, allowing me to layer images for a sense of depth. I also utilized bold, sans-serif fonts to ensure readability and to complement the sharp edges of the layout's square and rectangular shapes.
